Eastern Maine Agility Club (EMAC) is dedicated to promoting the sport of Canine Agility in Maine. EMAC hosts five Agility trials each year. Two of these trials are at the Skowhegan Fairgrounds (in May and July), two are at Hadley Point Campground in Bar Harbor (September and October) and for 2023 a new June venue at the Topsham Fairgrounds. EMAC welcomes all competitors, but many of our members are from central/eastern Maine. All EMAC Agility trials are sanctioned by Canine Performance Events, Inc. (CPE). EMAC’s mission is to help members and others on their dog Agility journey by providing opportunities to bond with their dog(s) and each other through trials with a positive and fun environment, training, and related social events.

COVID UPDATE (May, 2023) – EMAC is no longer requiring members to wear masks or to sign COVID waivers for trials. We just ask competitors to stay home if they feel sick and you are welcome to wear a mask if you wish to.

Agility is an equal opportunity dog sport. We welcome all dog handlers – junior, senior, and everyone in between from novice/first-timers to experienced competitors. We welcome all breeds of dogs who are ready, willing, and able to play! We only support positive reinforcement. Remember, your dog does the best job that it can with YOU as its handler.

Besides Trials, EMAC also hosts Fun Runs where you and your dog can practice your mad Agility skills in a trial-like setting. How is a Fun Run different from a Trial?
